font size

The Asian Clay Shooting Championship started here on Saturday with the participation of more than 200 competitors from 17 countries and regions.

Welcoming the participants, of which, some are from China, Japan and the Gulf States, Teo Chee Hean, President of Singapore National Olympic Council (SNOC), said that the competition will help to promote the sport in the city state, generate greater interest and let many of the country's younger shooters watch some of the top shooters in Asia, learn from them and be inspired by them.

The competition, sanctioned by the International Shooting Sports Federation, will end next Saturday.
