Maldivian president to visit China

Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, president of the Republic of Maldives, will pay a state visit to China from September 11 to 13 at the invitation of the Chinese President Hu Jintao, announced Qin Gang, spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, at a regular press conference Tuesday.
