Chevron oil company foresees the start of oil production in Banzala field, in the Angolan coastal region of Cabinda, Angola Press Angop reported on Wednesday.

The report quoted the latest "Chevron and Angola" publication as saying that apart from oil exploration, gas will also be produced through the project.

With this project that started in 1999, the multinational aims at increasing the value and efficiency of the Banzala field with a reduced number of premises and environmental interference by using injection wells.
