New Zealand share market closed down Friday with the benchmark NZX-50 index falling just 0.34 points to 3535.41 on turnover of 74 million NZ dollars (45 million U.S. dollars) U.S. dollars.
Market leader Telecom rose one cent to 4.28 NZ dollars, No. 2 stock Fletcher Building eased seven cents to 8.58 NZ dollars, Hellaby was up a cent to 5.07 NZ dollars, Ebos Group rose 10 cents to 5.30 NZ dollars, Hallenstein Glasson was up 10 cents to 5.10 NZ dollars, Ryman was down 10 cents to 8.80 NZ dollars, and Sky City was down four cents to 5.11 NZ dollars.
Rises narrowly outnumbered falls 44 to 42 on 128 stocks traded.
