Chinese senior diplomat's new book elaborates on "harmonious diplomacy"Chinese senior diplomat Wu Jianmin's new book on diplomacy and international relations, which stresses "harmonious diplomacy" concept, was released in Beijing on Friday. At the release ceremony, Wu, currently serving as president of the China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU) and president of the Bureau of International Expositions (BIE) said the goal for exercising diplomacy is to strive for the harmonious relationship between man and man and between nation and nation, and pool efforts to shape a harmonious society. Wu's book has collected the cream of his insightful philosophies over the past three years and explores a number of creative topics, such as the value and use of diplomatic resources, the productive force of exchanges between nations, the Chinese people's need to re-understand its culture, China's sharing of economic growth with the rest of the world, the world expo and the building of China's image.
