Kuwait stock exchange index closes up

Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) index closed at 9,945.6 points Saturday, 40.3 points up from Wednesday's finish.

The turnover was 76.6 million Kuwaiti dinars (about 260.4 million U.S. dollars) as 196.6 million shares were traded in 7,521 deals.
