He Luli, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress (NPC), met Wednesday with a Pakistani delegation of Foundation for Research on International Environment, National Development and Security, headed by its chairmen Mirza Aslam Beg.

He said the friendship between China and Pakistan will never change, and the frequent exchange of visits in recent years has further consolidated the bilateral relations.

"Both China and Pakistan face challenges and opportunities in the world arena and China appreciates Pakistan's consistent support in international affairs," He said.

The Pakistani delegation was here at the invitation of Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament.
