    Can 2,000-year-old seeds germinate?

    An unidentified, three-meter-high plant has germinated from seeds found in a trousseau unearthed recently in a Donghan tomb in Hebei province. Archaeologists say they are unsure whether the seeds are also from the Donghan period, and must be examined further.
