    Int'l mine rescue contest held in Henan

    Australian contestants rescue a worker in the simulated rescue contest during the 5th International Mine Rescue Contest held in Pingdingshan City, central China's Henan Province on Sep. 15, 2006. The 3-day contest was opened on Friday. A total of 82 rescuers in 11 teams from 8 countries competed in simulated mine rescue contest, breathing apparatus operation contest and first aid contest in the first day. It is the first time for China to host this international contest.
