The Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) signed an agreement with China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) Sunday in Shanghai, providing 20 million U.S. dollars of preferential loans to support China's agricultural projects.

So far, the NIB has offered 826 million U.S. dollars in loan to China to help it build 182 projects.

These projects have produced sound social and economic effects and played an active role in China's economic development, said the MOF.
