The gold price in Hong Kong rose 18 HK dollars to 5,363 HK dollars per tael on Monday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 578.9 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 1.80 U.S. dollars at Monday's exchange rate of 1 U.S. dollar against 7.7765 HK dollars.
