U.S. Secretary of Treasury Henry M. Paulson arrived in Hangzhou, capital city of east China's Zhejiang Province Tuesday afternoon, starting his four-day visit to China.

During his China tour, he will exchange views, with the Chinese side, on strengthening bilateral economic and trade cooperation, according to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang.

This is Paulson's first visit to China since he took office as Secretary of Treasury this July. He will leave here for Beijing Wednesday morning.
