China, Norway to enhance cooperation in int'l affairs

Norway is willing to actively strengthen its contact and coordination with China in international affairs, said Olav Akselsen, chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of Norwegian Parliament, Tuesday.

In a meeting with Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Akselsen appreciated China's positive role in dealing with international and regional issues.

Wang said China will make joint efforts with Norwegian Parliament to push ahead the bilateral relations in all-round way.

Wang also expounded China's independent foreign policy of peace and its stand for building a harmonious world.
