The gold price in Hong Kong rose 35 HK dollars to 5,398 HK dollars per tael on Tuesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 582.56 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 3.66 U.S. dollars at Tuesday's exchange rate of 1 U.S. dollar against 7.7780 HK dollars.
