China to set up friendship Center in Islamabad

China has signed an agreement with Pakistan to build a Pakistan-China friendship Center at Islamabad on a 12 acres.

Both countries signed an agreement pertaining to design of the center in Islamabad on Monday.

The agreement was signed by Joint Secretary ministry of culture Jalauddin Suhail on behalf of the government of Pakistan and Leader of Chinese delegation Ziiang Ri on behalf of the government of the China.

It is pertinent to note that an 11-member Chinese delegation of Engineers and Architects are visiting Pakistan for a period of 17 days and at the conclusion of their visit a historic agreement pertaining to the design of the Center.

The center would be established near Crescent Star Sculpture, Shakparian, Exhibition Areas, Class Rooms Performing Arts Center. The Center will be completed in two years time after start of construction.
