The gold price in Hong Kong dropped 83 HK dollars to 5,315 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 573.57 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 8.99 U.S. dollars at Wednesday's exchange rate of 1 U.S. dollar against 7.7785 HK dollars.
