font size

The People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD), an anti-Thaksin group, announced Thursday that it ceases to exist as its goal to see the Thaksin Shinawatra's regime toppled has been accomplished.

PAD leaders held a press conference at 11 am (0400 GMT) in Bangkok to announce the dissolution of the alliance, which have staged a number of mass rallies to call on Thaksin to quit as premier since early this year.
