font size

The third national ethnic minority performance concluded in Beijing Monday after 73 shows in 20 days.

More than 4,600 performers from Han Chinese and 55 ethnic minority groups staged 33 plays in the city and some participated in seven shows for factories, army, schools and communities in the suburb.

An awarding ceremony was held along with the closing ceremony as an acknowledgement of performers' shows that vary from singing, dance to drama and folk art.

Jia Qinglin, member of the Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China Central Committee Political Bureau and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, attended the closing ceremony.
