Senior Chinese legislator meets Kyrgyzstan guests

Ismail Amat, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, met Tuesday with a delegation of the Kyrgyzstan-China friendship committee of the Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan.

The delegation, led by chairman of the committee Tagaev Rashid Bakirovich, is here on a visit to China from Sept. 22 to 28 at the invitation of the NPC's foreign affairs committee.

Apart from Beijing, the delegation will also visit northwest China's Shaanxi Province.
