State councilor meets 10 most popular policemen

State Councilor Zhou Yongkang met with China's ten most popular policemen as chosen by the public on Tuesday and called on police around the country to learn from their hard work.

The title "Most favorite ten policemen for the people" encompassed public respect and acknowledgement of the ten officers and their expectations of the police, said Zhou, also Minister of Public Security.

He urged the officers to cherish the honor and always bear in mind the fundamental tenet of serving the people and said they were the examples for other police officers.
