Japan's newly-elected Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Friday that it was extremely important, to Asia as well as to the international society, to strengthen trust with China and South Korea.

"It is also important to endeavor to look to the future and to exchange ideas frankly," Abe said in his policy speech.
