DPRK's FCCC celebrates China's National Day

The Foreign Culture Communication Committee (FCCC) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Thursday held a banquet to celebrate the 57th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

At the banquet, Mun Jae-chul, acting chairman of the FCCC, delivered warm congratulations to the Chinese people on behalf of the DPRK government.

Mun said the DPRK and China enjoyed a traditional friendship and he believed that the two countries had a bright future for closer cooperation.

Liu Xiaoming, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, expressed his thanks to the DPRK government and said that China would join hands with the DPRK to expand cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
