Luo Zhijun reelected communist party chief of Nanjing

Luo Zhijun, 55, was reelected as Party chief of Nanjing, capital of east China's Jiangsu Province, on Friday at the first plenary session of the Twelfth Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Luo, born in November 1951 and a native of Lingyuan, northeast China's Liaoning Province, assumed the post of secretary of the CPC Nanjing Municipal Committee in April 2003.

Luo is also a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee.

He worked in the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China in early 1990s and began to work in Nanjing in 1995.
