Polish President Lech Kaczynski and his Lithuanian counterpart Valdas Adamkus signed on Friday a joint declaration on energy cooperation.
High on the cooperative agenda is the construction of an energy bridge that will join the power grids in the two countries.
The project, estimated to cost 300 to 400 million euros (383 to 510 million U.S. dollars), will be financed by the European Union, as it has been on the list of investments of importance to Europe.
Adamkus arrived here on Friday on a one-day visit.
