Gold price higher in Hong Kong -- Oct. 9

The gold price in Hong Kong rose 61 HK dollars to 5,348 HK dollars per tael on Monday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 577.02 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 7.12 U.S. dollars at Monday's exchange rate of 1 U.S. dollar against 7.78 HK dollars.
