A female entrepreneur has topped a list of China's richest people, the first time a woman has done so, according to the Huran Report.

Zhang Yin, the 49-year-old founder and chairwoman of Guangdong-based Nine Dragons Paper Industries Co., Ltd., has accumulated a fortune of 27 billion yuan (US$3.375 billions).

All 500 people on the list had at least 800 million yuan, and people in the top ten have at least 10 billion yuan.

The majority of those listed are involved in real estate, the manufacturing industry and IT.
