Latin America's three major stock markets closed mixed on Friday.
The Buenos Aires stock market closed with the Merval index up 0.47 percent at 1,784.619 points. The trade volume was 17.375 million U.S. dollars.
Mexico City's IPC stock index dropped by 2.56 percent to close at 22,762.86 points. A total of 169 million shares were traded for a total of 441 million dollars.
In Sao Paulo, Latin America's biggest bourse, the leading Bovespa index closed at 39,328 points, down 0.8 percent, The trade volume was 1.064 billion dollars.
