Angolan Prime Minister Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos left Luanda on Saturday morning for China for a five-day official visit, which is intended to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

Planning Minister Ana Dias Louren and high ranking officials accompanied the premier in the trip. Ministers of Public Works and some Angolan government officials are waiting for the prime minister in China.

According to an official press note, the prime minister will meet with senior Chinese officials and visit the cities of Beijing, Shenzhen and Shanghai.

He will also represent the head of State, Jos Eduardo dos Santos, at the Sino-African Cooperation Forum set for early November in Beijing.
