14 killed in consecutive gas explosions in Xinjiang

The site of the coal mine gas explosion is shown in Miquan City, Northwest China's Xinjiang Autonomous Region October 28, 2006. Four gas explosions in a row on Saturday morning at the coal mine left 14 workers who had trapped underground dead. Rescuers have found the bodies of all the 14 miners and the local government has started to compensate for the workers' death. (newsphoto)
