The gold price in Hong Kong went up 9 HK dollars to 5,773 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 623.04 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 1.02 U.S. dollars at Wednesday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.7780 HK dollars.
