font size

An exhibition on Human Rights in China will be held between November 17 and November 26 at the Beijing Cultural Palace for Nationalities.

This is the first human rights themed exhibition.

The exhibition will showcase China's achievements in regards to human rights. It will help to advocate scientific development and the construction of a harmonious society and world. It will also promote the development of China's human rights record and exchange and cooperation on international human rights issues.

This year marks the fortieth anniversary of the launch of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. It also marks the fifteenth anniversary of the white paper on the Human Rights Situation in China.
