The gold price in Hong Kong inched down six HK dollars to 5,757 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 621.23 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 68 U.S. cents at Wedneday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.779 HK dollars.
