font size

Edmund Ho Hau Wah, chief executive ( CE) of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR), said Thursday that the government is to increase the efforts in aiding local enterprises.

The CE said in his 90-minute policy address that the MSAR government is to set up a service center for the small and medium- sized enterprises in the fiscal year of 2007.

Ho said the government is to be in hard bid to help enterprises tackle the shortage of human resources and to help them adjust more effectively to the market changes.

Ho also said the government is to work out policies to help small and medium-sized enterprises to get loans.

He urged the enterprises to promote themselves in the sectors of technology and management.
