The gold price in Hong Kong fell 52 HK dollars to 5,718 HK dollars per tael on Friday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 617.02 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 5.69 U.S. dollars at Friday's exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.779 HK dollars.
