Chinese FM, S. Korean FM designate meet on bilateral ties

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing and South Korean Foreign Minister designate Song Min Soon Sunday expressed their satisfactions with the bilateral ties between their two countries.

During a meeting held on the sidelines of the ongoing Asia- Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit here, Chinese Foreign Minister Li said the development of China-South Korea relations is very good, expressing hope that the two countries can further strengthen their coordination and cooperation.

Song Min Soon said that South Korea and China have kept very good cooperation in international and regional issues, and South Korea will firmly uphold One-China Policy.

The two sides also exchanged views on the nuclear issues on the Korean Peninsula and expressed their willingness for closer coordination in pushing the process of the six-party talks.
