font size

High-ranking Chinese and Slovakian military officials said Monday that the armed forces of the two countries are ready to strengthen friendly ties.

"We attach great importance to the relations with the Slovakian armed forces and are ready to expand and enrich cooperation between the two sides," said Chinese Defense Minister Cao Gangchuan in a meeting with visiting Lubomir Bulik, general staff of armed forces of Slovakia.

Cao hailed the traditional friendship between the two peoples, saying the two countries have conducted fruitful exchanges and cooperation in various fields since the establishment of their diplomatic relations.

Bulik said he hoped the two armed forces can strengthen exchanges of information and cooperation in resolving the problems facing both countries.

Bulik reiterated that Slovakia adheres to the one-China policy.
