Strengthen dialogue and consultation and enhance political mutual trust with more high-level contacts;

Expand trade, and remove trade and investment barriers to realize the trade target of US$40 billion by 2010;

Enhance collaboration on IT, energy, resources, infrastructure, science, technology and agriculture;

Promote cultural exchanges. Chinese Government will invite 500 young Indians to China in the next five years;

Push forward border demarcation negotiations and maintain peace in border areas;

Safeguard common interests in the United Nations and other multilateral organizations.
