    Trail lift of giant offshore floating crane succeeds in Shanghai

    The 4000-ton offshore floating crane called Huatianlong lifts four 1000-ton camels on the sea at Shanghai Changxingdao Base during the trail lift in Shanghai, China, Nov. 21, 2006. The trail lift succeeded for the first time on Tuesday and Huatianlong offshore floating crane would be delivered to the Guangzhou Salvage Bureau.

    Design of U.S. "presidential" coins unveiled

    The United State's very first coin: featuring the first US President, George Washington, on one side, and the Statute of Liberty on the other. The coin was on display at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C on November 20. The U.S. Mint will release of series of special US $1 coins in 2007. The coins will feature a former President in order of service every year until 2016. The US Mint has decreed that only Presidents that have been dead for more than two years will be featured in the collection.

    DIY car kit

    A Japanese company has developed a mini car know as "K-4". It composed of more than 500 parts and be assembled at home in less than 40 hours. It is expected to be sold for US$6460 on the market.The company unveiled its new "K-4" mini car in Tokyo on November 21.
