Chinese President Hu Jintao concluded his four-day state visit to India and left Mumbai on Thursday for Pakistan.

During the visit, Hu held talks with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, and met with Indian President Abdul Kalam, as well as Indian parliament leaders and leaders of some Indian political parties.

The two sides agreed to further promote their strategic and cooperative partnership and enrich the contents of bilateral cooperation.

Hu also delivered a speech in New Delhi entitled "Working together to expand cooperation and create a bright future."

The two sides signed a number of bilateral cooperative documents concerning investment, quarantine, human resources development, forestry, culture and establishment of consulates-general at Guangzhou and Kolkata.

In Mumbai, Hu delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the India-China economic, trade and investment cooperation summit and CEO forum.

Hu started the visit on Monday, which is the first visit to India by a Chinese head of state in 10 years.

India is the third leg of Hu's four-nation tour, which has already taken him to Vietnam and Laos, and will also take him to Pakistan.

He also attended the 14th APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Economic Leaders' Meeting from Nov. 17 to 19 in Hanoi, capital of Vietnam.
