Bulgarian prime minister concludes China tour

Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergei Stanishev left Shanghai Thursday morning, concluding his five-day official visit to China.

During his Beijing tour, Stanishev held talks with Premier Wen Jiabao, and met with top legislator Wu Bangguo and Vice President Zeng Qinghong, respectively.

Both sides agreed to take active steps to bolster trade cooperation between the two countries.

During his stay in Shanghai, Stanishev met with Shanghai mayor Han Zheng and gave a speech at the prestigious Fudan University.

He said Bulgaria expects to expand exchanges and cooperation with China and expects more Chinese investment.
