The gold price in Hong Kong went up 39 HK dollars to 5,862 HK dollars per tael on Friday, according to Bank of China (Hong Kong).

The price is equivalent to 633.21 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, up 4.14 U.S. dollars at Friday's exchange rate of one U.S.dollar against 7.7710 HK dollars.
