Two Palestinians, one Hamas militant and one police officer, were killed in an Israeli artillery shelling on eastern Gaza Strip Saturday night, security sources said.
An Israeli army tank fired several artillery rounds at a Palestinian security post near the Karni commercial crossing on the borders between eastern Gaza Strip and Israel.
One militant and one security officer were killed in the attack, and Palestinian ambulances took the bodies to Shiffa Hospital in Gaza City.
Medics at Shiffa Hospital said that Waleed Abu el-Qomboz, a security officer and Waleed Moheisen, a Hamas militant, were killed in the shelling.
Earlier in the day, one Hamas militant was killed and four wounded in two Israeli airstrikes on western and southern Gaza City, medics and witnesses said.
