Zimbabwe will soon take the delivery of the second consignment of 35,000 tons of urea fertilizer that was shipped from China on Tuesday this week.
The official The Herald reported on Saturday that Zimbabwe's Ambassador to China Christopher Mutsvangwa said the consignment was expected to reach Zimbabwe in about 28 days.
This will bring the total amount of fertilizer shipped to Zimbabwe to 57,000 tons.
The first consignment of Compound D fertilizer was shipped to Zimbabwe on November 14 and was expected to have arrived in the country at least by December 6.
