Mongolian PM concludes China visit
font size

Mongolian Prime Minister Miegombyn Enkhbold left Beijing on Monday, concluding his six-day official visit to China as guest of his Chinese counterpart Wen Jiabao.

During his stay here, Enkhbold met or talked with the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee Chairman Wu Bangguo, Premier Wen and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee Chairman Jia Qinglin.

Enkhbold also attended a China-Mongolia trade forum in Beijing. Companies from both nations signed cooperation agreements at the forum with a total value of about 100 million U.S. dollars, involving such fields as real estate and mechanical equipment.

Besides the capital city of China, Enkhbold also visited Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

It is the first time for Enkhbold to visit China since he took office as Mongolian Prime Minister in January this year.
