Chinese FM holds reception for new WHO chief

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing on Wednesday held a reception for Margaret Chan, the newly-elected chief of World Health Organization (WHO).

The reception, joined by diplomatic officials from over 30 member countries of the Executive Board of WHO and representatives from various United Nations institutions in China, is also held to thank wide support from relevant countries to Chan's running for the position.
