Tunisian DM vows to boost ties with Chinese militaryTunisian Defense Minister Kamel Morjane said Wednesday when meeting a military delegation from China that the two sides should further boost ties between the two armed forces and in other fields. In talks with Zhang Li, deputy chief of general staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), Morjane said bilateral military exchanges have increased in recent years and the Tunisian armed forces are willing to strengthen friendly cooperation with the Chinese side. The minister also hailed the important role China is playing on the international arena, saying that Tunisia would like to learn from China's experience in economic and social development. Zhang, who arrived here on Monday for a four-day visit, said the Chinese-Tunisian ties have developed smoothly in various fields in over four decades since their establishment of diplomatic relations.
