Malaysia's LCCT receives first non-AirAsia airlineFirst non-AirAsia airline on Friday touched down at Malaysia's Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT). Since its opening this March, the terminal early Friday morning received for the first time a carrier which is not from AirAsia, Malaysia's budget carrier. Transport Minister Chan Kong Choy and Tourism Minister Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor were at the terminal located in Sepang near here to welcome the first batch of 150 passengers on Cebu Pacific's s maiden flight Chan said Cebu Pacific's s flight into LCCT was a "historic moment" for a young terminal. "In less than a year, the first non-AirAsia airline has flown into LCCT. This shows that we are indeed receiving strong support from budget carriers," said Chan. A few more non-AirAsia low-cost carriers have also indicated interest in making the LCCT their hub and the government is still having talks with them, said Chan.
