The seventh Qassam rocket fired from the Gaza Strip landed Sunday morning near a Kibbutz in southern Israel, Israeli daily Ha'aretz reported.
It exploded in an open field but no casualty was reported.
According to the report, this was the seventh rocket fired into Israel from the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire between Israel and Palestinian factions was declared last Sunday.
Israel continues to restrain itself and is not responding to the shooting. However, the security cabinet is set to convene Sunday to discuss the fragile calm, and to discuss Israel's responses to further firing.
Palestinian and Israel agreed to a ceasefire on Nov. 26, but hours after the ceasefire took effect, Saraya al-Quds, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad (Holy War), and al-Qassam Brigades, a militant group affiliated to Hamas, claimed responsibility for firing homemade rockets at the Israeli town of Sderot.
