Nepal's interim constitution draft to be presented to leadersThe Nepali government and the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) (formerly known as guerrilla) talks teams have agreed on the draft interim constitution, the National News Agency, RSS reported on Sunday. The agreement was reached at a meeting between the government and the CPN held in Kathmandu Saturday evening, the RSS reported. The draft will be presented to the top leaders of the eight political parties for their approval, Home Minister and convenor of the government talks team, Krishna Prasad Sitaula told the press after the meeting. He said the talks teams could not draw conclusions on important topics like the head of state, the election system of the constituent assembly, the constitutional council and who should head the security council. Sitoula and Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Pradip Gyawali, Minister of State for Labor and Transport Management Ramesh Lekhak and the CPN leader Bhattarai were present at Saturday's meeting.
