HK's CPPCC member Lo Tak Shing dies

Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Lo Tak Shing passed away in Hong Kong on Monday at age 71.

Lo was an outstanding public figure, renowned patriot, and member of the law society of Hong Kong, an official obituary said.

Lo served two terms as member of the National Committee of the CPPCC, or China's top advisory body. He was also a former member of the Basic Law Consultative Committee.
